Olive Tree
Adopt an olive tree from O’Terroir dos Pardaos in the middle of beautiful Galicia. With the adoption you support the finca and give the opportunity that the farm can live and mature.
The olive trees have been planted 7 years ago in 2014. So they are not grown up so far, but they want to be soon. Than they will give high quality bio oil for you. With the adoption you help that the olive grove can be revitalised. The trees are situated on 14 terrasses up the hill and there are arround 1500 trees. At the moment the trees are more stuck in a jungel, so the whole terroir needs to be cleaned. With your adoption this will be possible.
The Adoption of an Olive Tree includes:
- The tree will get a sign with your name or the name you choose.
- You will receive a picture of your tree and a certificate of the adoption.
- As gift for your support you will get 2 bottles of 0.5 litres high quality bio olive oil. In the first year not from the trees of the farm here. The need to mature a bit. But from nearby a certified high quality olive oil.
- You can visit your olive tree any time. Just let us know when you want to come.
- As little extra for your support you can stay one night on the farm and experience “live” how the life is here. How the work is going on and get a glimps of the land and the beautiful landscape “tambien”.
- We will update on facebook how the work is progressing regularly.
- The adoption it will not renew automaticaly. You decide how long you will support the olive grove and have our own tree.
Why to adopt an Olive Tree

- The first aim with your support is to clean the 14 terraces which are going up the hill.
- Therefore a special machine is needed. Which helps to make compost with the cutted material.
- Afterwards the pruning of the trees can start. There are around 1500 small to medium trees which need to be taken care of.
- The olive trees which are not in good condition will be replanted
- Fertilizer
- Workers
- That the trees grow well and staight sticks (tutores) are placed, the old ones need to be replaced.
- The trees need water there is an water installations which but some of the hoses need to be fixed and the installation optimised
- A fence will be installed to keep the wildpig away
